Nicole Farin

Nicole Farin began dancing at the age of 4 and enrolled at Broadway Bound Dance Center at the age of 9. She took a year of hip hop and jazz, and then became a member of the Force Dance Company, starting out in the Junior Company and making her way up to the Senior Company. She competed in various competitions around the tri-state area in solos, duo/trios, and group dances. During Nicoles years at BBDC she taught Pre-school dance and now Choreographs for "The Force".

Nicole is an upcoming sophomore at Boston University, and is currently undecided. She auditioned for the Boston University Dance Team, and was picked out of 70 people for one of the 6 spots on the team. The BU Dance Team dances at the men's and women's home basketball games, and does various shows across the campus as well as tailgates and pep ralleys. The BU Dance Team is nationally ranked, and won 12th in Division I at the NDA competition in Daytona Beach, Florida. Nicole loves the whole dancing experience, especially in front of an audience or crowd, and strongly encourages dancers to push themselves to their limits.

She believes that there is no better feeling than performing in front of a crowd, and she would like to thank Broadway Bound Dance Center for pushing her and helping her reach her goals.

Now Kelly is a senior at Pennsylvania State University and majoring in Kinesiology. She tried out for the Co-Ed cheerleading team her freshman year, and out of 110 girls she was picked for one of the 28 spots. Her squad cheers for football games as well as the Men's and Women's basketball games. They also participate in pep rallies, parades, community service activities, charitable organizations' fund-raisers, University president tailgates, hospital visits and retirement homes.

Kelly loves cheerleading in front of the 110,000 fans in Beaver Stadium, especially now that Penn State is number one in the Big Ten Conference. Thanks to the excellent dance instructors at Broadway Bound Dance Center, she can now feel comfortable performing in front of all the spectators in the second largest Stadium in the country.

Kelly encourages aspiring dancers to try hard when it comes to achieving their goals, because with hard work and dedication it can happen!

Michelle Loizeaux

Michelle began dancing at the age of three, began competing at five, and joined “The Force” senior dance company at Broadway Bound at eight. Throughout her time as a member of the company, from third to twelfth grade, Michelle won numerous awards including many solo, duo, trio, and group overall titles. She was also a member of the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Dance Team where she was responsible for choreography her senior year.

Along with dance, Michelle was very involved in theatre throughout high school, participating in the Flemington Raritan Community Theatre and choreographing the Reading Fleming Middle School / JP Case Middle School musicals for four years.

Michelle is presently a member of the “First Ladies” dance team and the George Washington University where she is majoring in International Affairs in the University Honors Program. The “First Ladies” are currently ranked fourth in the nation for Hip Hop and eleventh for Jazz in Division I at the Universal Dance Association Collegiate National Championship where they competed in Disney World in January 2009. The team is made up of 16 dancers from across the nation who train together for an average of 10-12 hours a week.

Michelle has also returned this year to choreograph for “The Force” and her prior teammates. She would like to thank Broadway Bound for not only the excellent dance training that enabled her to become part of an advanced collegiate team, but also the confidence to perform successfully in all areas of her life.

Lauren Greeley

Lauren Greeley began dancing at the age of three and enrolled at Broadway Bound in 5th grade.  She joined the Senior “Force” Dance Company in 8th grade, and has competed for (and won!) solo, duo, trio, and group awards at various competitions throughout the area.  At BBDC Lauren taught pre-ballet classes, assistant-taught for the company, gave private lessons, and aided Ms. Lori with her “Creative Wings” special needs dance and movement classes.  In 2008 she began choreographing for the company girls, and couldn’t be more proud of them for performing her choreography so wonderfully at competition!

Outside of her BBDC home, Lauren took classes with the New Jersey Ballet and performed in their yearly production of The Nutcracker at the Paper Mill Playhouse.  She is currently attending college at the University of Maryland working toward a double-major in English and Government and Politics, and is interning for a Congressman on Capitol Hill.  Lauren auditioned for the University of Maryland’s Unbound Dance Team, and was chosen out of over fifty girls for one of the team’s few open spots.  As a member of Unbound, she has had the opportunity to continue choreographing and performing in showcases and competitions at UMD with a talented group of girls who all share a common passion for dance.

Without her experiences at Broadway Bound Lauren would not be the creative and passionate dancer, choreographer, and performer that she is today.  She would like to thank everyone at BBDC for making her time here so rewarding, and hopes that all present and future dancers here enjoy their time as much as she has…
