As the daughter of a dance teacher, Kristie was born to dance. She has had many opportunities to observe, demonstrate and student teach with top dance teachers in the area.

A member of the NJDTE, Kristie started her training early in the Professional Youth Dance Company, and was invited to join the Harkness Youth Ballet of the 92nd Street Y-Harkness Dance Center. While a member of both companies, she had the opportunity to learn and perform works with renowned choreographers, Robert Garland, Robert Battle, and Steven Pier. Kristie performed in venues such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Kid's Cafe, 92nd St. Y, and the State Theater in NJ.

She is also trained in Modern and Contemporary Dance, winning a Teen Scholarship to the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in NYC.

After attending the North Carolina School of the Arts, she has returned to NJ to continue her education at Rutgers University.

Kristie looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for dance with the Broadway Bound Dance Family.
